on Laptops using two gpus e.g. intel integrated grphics for windows explorer and a dedicated nvidia gpu for games - it chooses the intel integrated automatically

this problem can be worked around by enforcing the nvidia gpu in the nvidia system dialogue but it would be nice if it happens automatically

could also be a bug in the OS but could be worth investigating
